Bernie Boyce sadly passed away 19th
January 2009, succumbing to Prostate Cancer after a bravely
fought fight.
Bernie was a larger than life character,
a person who was determined to laugh in the face of
adversity and never let his illness get him down.
He was ready to make a joke about it, about himself,
about the situation,
assisting in the creation of a shoot-off website
comically called "Bollocks to PCa" - a place for people to
chat about every-day things, not just the cancer they were
fighting. Bernie was always one to ‘make the
best of a bad situation’ – he was an inspiration to many on
the Prostate Cancer forum and the Bollocks to PCa site,
providing a comforting word and helping with his invaluable
knowledge and will be sadly missed by all.

Cancer is a word not a sentence!
