GROUP
MACS (Mojacar Area Cancer Support) provide help, care & support
for people with cancer related disorders.
MACS is a registered charity and as such, are totally dependent
upon external support/donations and also the commitment of our
volunteers.
The group continue to raise much needed funds for the immediate
and future medical requirements of patients.
There are numerous companies and individuals who, during 2009,
have supported and contributed to MACS, enabling the Group to
provide much needed help during often very traumatic times.
A HUGE thank you to you all.
During
2009 MACS has helped roughly
50
families with equipment, transport, translations, counselling,
support and friendship, plus telephone and webmail help
MACS
would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the guest
speakers who have attended, free of charge, the MACS monthly
patients and survivors meetings, for making their given topics
lively and interesting.
All
MACS meetings are held in the function room (Miraflores),
Los Gallardos Camping. Thank you to Shirley (and her team),
for being kind enough to allow us to hold our meetings free of
charge.

providing his services, free of charge.
Finally, thanks and gratitude to David Smalley for his
free professional services and dedication to the Group.
